AtaBank decreases consumer loans

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of April 1, 2012, AtaBank’s assets made AZN 227.130 mln, up 12% from a year earlier.

During the reporting period, loan portfolio rose 17% to AZN 154.501 mln, consumer loans dropped 1.3% to AZN 36.686 mln, deposit portfolio grew by 12% to AZN 189.958 mln, term deposits rose 12% to AZN 163.358 mln, demand deposit increased by 14% to AZN 26.603 mln, population deposits soared 37% to AZN 106.903 mln, total capital rose 12.6% to AZN 30.424 mln, authorized capital remained stable at AZN 25 mln.

Incomes of the bank rose 36% to AZN 7.250 mln, interest incomes grew by 30% to AZN 5.814 mln, non-interest incomes rose 65% to AZN .435 mln, expenses grew by 22% to AZN 6.078 mln, interest expenses soared 5% to AZN 2.893 mln, non-interest expenses dropped 10 times to AZN 208 thousand. Consequently, bank’s profit grew by 3.3 times to AZN 1.172 mln.

AtaBank has been in operation since 1993. As of April 1, 2012, it operates 24 branches, 64 ATMs, 1,882 POS-terminals and 308 employees across the country.
