Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Positive balance of Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover was $ 7,411.5 mln in January-March, 2012, up by 2.1 times compared with a year ago, said the State Statistical Committee
According to State Statistical Committee, the volume of trade operations with 118 countries reached $ 11,520.1 mln. In the period of report, $9,465.8 mln goods were exported and $2,054.3 mln – imported to the country.
Foreign trade turnover rose 57%, export operations – 73.8% higher and import – 8.6% compared with a year earlier.
More than 4/5 part or 84.4% of foreign trade operations were conducted with Italy, US, France, Germany, Turkey, Russia, India, Israel, Indonesia, China, Bulgaria, Singapore, Ukraine, Georgia, Greece, Malaysia, Portugal and Spain.
