Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijani Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov held several business meetings within the annual meeting of Board of Directors of Asian Development Bank in Manila, Philippine.
According to Ministry, socio-economic development ii Azerbaijan, durable economic growth and diversification of the country, current implementation situation of projects in Azerbaijan financed by ADB and cooperation in the future were discussed at the meeting with ADM President Haruhiko Kuroda.
Kuroda noted that, ADB would support Azerbaijan’s efforts directed to development of non-oil sector.
Sharifov also separately met with ADB Secretary-General Robert Dawson, Director-General Klaus Gerhaeusser and Executive Director Phil Bowen, as well Japan JICA Vice-President. Current projects and new projects were discussed at the meeting.
