Baku. Anakhanım Hidoyatova - APA-Economics. The Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Regional Planning Council will hold next meeting on June 11-13 in Ashgabat, APA reports quoting the website of the organization.
The meeting will focus on the policy and future plans of the ECO on next projects. Moreover, dates of the events planned for 2013 will be fixed at the meeting.
New program will be drawn up in accordance with the principles and aims reflected in the Izmir agreement, as well as recommendations of the Cabinet. The meeting is expected to be attended by high ranking delegations from the member countries.
At the same time, the meeting will touch upon cooperation issues – both regional and international organizations. The proposed plan and programs will be approved at the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to be held on October 13-16, in Baku.
Note that, ECO member countries include Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Pakistan and Iran.
