Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-ECONOMICS. As of March 1, 2012, the volume of deposits placed at the existing credit institutions in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 9,507.0 mln, up AZN 2,192.0 mln or 30% compared to last year, AZN 225.8 mln or 2.4% in February, 2012.
AZN 4,330.6 mln or 45.6% in the structure of deposits made households deposits. The deposits increased by AZN 1,187.7 mln or 37.8% year-on-year, AZN 151.1 mln or 3.6% in February.
At the same time, as of March 1, the volume of legal entities’ deposits amounted to AZN 5,176.5 mln. This figure rose AZN 1,004.4 million or 24.1%, year-on-year, AZN 74.7 mln or 1.5% in February, 2102. AZN 2,529.2 mln or 48.9% of deposits belonged to financial organizations, AZN 2,647.3 mln or 51.1% - non-financial organizations.
