Parabank gets 11% growth in Q1 assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of April 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based Parabankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 105.861 mln, up 11.44% from year earlier.

Bank says loan portfolio rose 12.10% to AZN 72.553 mln, deposit portfolio extended 15.88% to AZN 64.187 mln.

Total capital dropped 2.34% to AZN 12.827 mln, including authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 11.570 mln.

Number of customers soared 5.22% to AZN 16,608, including individuals increased by 30.74% to 15,563, legal entities by 33.63% to 1,045. Active plastic cards grew 61.30% to 5,444, as well debit cards surged 45.86% to 3,537, credit cards doubled to 1,907.

At the same time, staffs soared 17.31% to 454, average monthly salary surged 5.48% to AZN 462.

Remind that, Parabank has been in operation since 1991. THE bank operates 16 branches, 18 ATMs and 148 POS-terminals across the country.
