Texnikabank makes statement on A.M.A.Yâ€™s head Abdulla Abdullayevâ€™s accusations

Bank confirmed the fact about that Texnikabank gave credits to A.M.A.Y and some other companies connected with it for extension, development and conducting business of those companies.

Texnikabank says that different parts of administrative building owned by A.M.A.Y were documented in an appropriate way as collateral of those loans: â€œBut as a result of conducted monitoring it was revealed that, instead of using the received credit resources for extension of companies and conducting of business, they were given to A.M.A.Yâ€™s head Abdulla Abdullayev. While the loans were expired, extended several times and restructured, they were not returned back. We addressed investigation organs and it was revealed that the credits were not used in accordance with its appointment. At present, investigation is underway in accordance with Azerbaijani legislationâ€.

Texnikabank declares that A.M.A.Yâ€™s leadership and some other companies connected with it committed crime: â€œThey understand it and try to cover up the crime by giving false information at press conference, they want to create confusion among society and some media, impact on, work of courts by slandering them. Abdullayev confessed A.M.A.Yâ€™s debts on credit and leasing taken from National Fund for Entrepreneurship Support, AIB, Parex Leasing & Factoring. At the same time, he tried to avoid payment of debts taken by different ways from financial and banking organizations functioning inside the country and abroadâ€.

Texnikabank recommends A.M.A.Yâ€™s head not to slander state and non-state bodies, take concrete measures for fulfilling the obligations in front of them by mobilizing liquid assets.
