DemirBank sees 30% rise in deposit portfolio

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of April 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based DemirBankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 323.456 mln, up 16.5% compared with a year ago.

Bank says the loan portfolio rose 28.08% to AZN 237.279 mln, deposit portfolio extended 29.33% to AZN 139.365 mln.

Total capital increased by 1.94% to AZN 48.562 mln, including authorized capital climbed 5.2% to AZN 20 mln.

Number of bankâ€™s clients went up 19.15% to 51.225, as well as individuals rose 20.89% to 50.094, legal entities went down 27.27% to 1.131. number of active plastic cards decreased by 15.77% to 28.217, debit cards decreased by 16.31% to 22.234, credit cards slid 13.65% to 5.883.

Remind that, DemirBank has been in operation since 1989. The bank operates 30 branches, 52 ATMs and 253 POS-terminals and 643 employees across the country.
