Turkish economic achievements discussed in IFS

According to APA-Economics, Turkey’s Finance Minister Mehmet Shimshek noted in first session of second day of the summit that a base was created for the long-term economic development in Turkey and realized great reforms. Despite, Turkey intends to continue the reforms. The economic growth will be reached 54% during next 15-20 years and this will eliminate the differ of Turkey with European countries.

Turkish PM Ali Babacan noted that Turkey changed during 10-20 years that the country has economic and political stability, freedom of speech and press.

According to him he attended the international conference on economic situation in te world with Minister of Taxes in New York. The attention was paid to economic forecasts and aims which defined in 2000 until 2015. The country review showed that Turkey fulfilled the aims and forecasts completely.

According to him the economic situation in Turkey is better than in Ireland, Portugal, Spain and several European Countries.

There will be addresses on the subject of economic and financial stability, role of Central Bank, infrastructure and energy projects and financing of them, Islamic financing on the second day of summit.

Note that, he annual summit was organized by PGlobal, Yedi24 Group of Companies and Germany’s Financial Gates GmbH at the Bahceseher University. Azerbaijan’s APA news agency is IFS 2010’s official media partner.
