Turkey hosts symposium on parliament role in budget formation

Baku â€“ APA. Chairman of the Economic Policy Committee of the Azerbaijani parliament Ziyad Samadzadeh visited Afyonkarahisar, Turkey to attend a symposium organized by the Turkish parliament and dedicated to the parliamentsâ€™ role in budget formation and experience of the Organization of the Islamic Conference and European Union countries.

According to APA, the symposium focuses attention on the role of the parliaments in budget formation, reviews the experience of the member countries of the OIC Parliamentary Assembly and European Union, as well as budget targets, tax policy, financial transparency and other issues.

Samadzadeh addressed the forum and spoke about the role of the Azerbaijani parliament in budget formation and shared the experience of the Azerbaijani parliament in this field.
