Azerbaijan-based banks ranking for profit growth rate

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. APA-Economics provides ranking of Azerbaijan-based banks for their various figures and financial performance.

The project aims to highlight banksâ€™ financial performance and update the public and potential investors. In the table below, banks are ranked for profit growth rate with the available data as of July 1, 2010.

NBC Bankâ€™s loss was AZN 852 000, in January-June, 2010, profit was AZN 1.859 mln in January-June, 2009.

Bank Avrasiyaâ€™s profit made AZN 919 000 in January-June 2009, loss was AZN 2.880 mln in January-June 2010.

United Credit Bankâ€™s loss made AZN 1.155 mln in January-June, 2010, up by 7.9 times compared with a year ago.

Kafkaz Development Bankâ€™s loss was AZN 598.47 thousands up 15.93% from year earlier.

EuroBankâ€™s profit made AZN 373 000 in January-June, 2010, loss made AZN 98.19 thousands in the first half-year 2009.

Royal Bankâ€™s got AZN 1.688 mln loss in the firsrt half-year, 2010, up by 35.79 times compared with a year ago.

Melli Iran Bank â€“ Baku got AZN 133.71 thousands loss in January-June, 2010, AZN 439.20 thousands profit at the first half-year, 2009.

Unibankâ€™s profit accounted ANZ 2.490 mln. In January-June 2010, loss was AZN 190.31 thousands at the first half-year 2009.
