Meeting about preparations to IFS held

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA-Economics. Turkey’s preparations about participation in Istanbul Finance Summit – 2010 on September 28-30, in Turkey are continued, IFS coordination office’s executive Committee informed.

A meeting about organization og event was held with the participation of PGlobal, Yedi24 Group of Companies on September 7. Members of IFS Advisory Group Murad Yulek, Guler Manisali Darman, Ali Bilga and Dursun Toopchu and chief of Execution Group Omar Faruk Unal attended the meeting.

“The issues to be discussed in the meeting will have an impact in the world. We expect high-level participation in the summit” M. Yulek emphasized.

The discussions about regulation and reform demands in global financial sector after crisis, Banking of Center: Economic and Financial Stability after crisis, Financial Centers: Experience and Duels, Energy, Local Leaderships, financing of infrastructure and project, Islamic Finance: Can the insufficiencies be eliminated? and other issues will be held in the Summit.

Turkey’s state minister and deputy prime minister Ali Babacan, MP Cuneyt Yuksel, secretary of treasure Ibrahim Canakci, head of investment market organization Vedat Akgiray, head of the Central Bank, Durmus Yilmaz, head of Istanbul Stock Exchange Huseyn Erkan, head of Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Murad Yalchintas, head of German Federal Financial Control Jochen Sanio, chairman of the Mexican Central Bank Augustine Karstens, president of the Islamic Development Bank Ahma Mohammad Ali, member of the Polish Central Bank Board of Governors Zbignew Hochcuba, City Group senior economist William Buiter are expected to attend the summit.
