Russia allocates $10 mln to Kyrgyzstan

Baku - APA-Economics. Russia has allocated 10 million dollars to Kyrgyzstan in an extra aid effort, The Voice of Russia reported.

The Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said as much to the leader of the Kyrgyz Social-Democratic Party Almazbek Atambayev, whom Putin received in Moscow.

The parties to the talks pointed out that the recent tragic developments in Kyrgyzstan resulted in a GDP drop in the Central Asian republic.

Earlier the Kyrgyz authorities asked Russia for an additional financial aid to make good for the 50 million dollar budget deficit.

In May Russia allocated 20 million dollars to Kyrgyzstan.
