Unibank starts new campaign

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. The Â«QÆÅžÅžÅžÅžÆNGÂ» Campaign has started in Unibank granting every sender and recipient of a money transfer the chance to win one of the 200 cell phones put in the campaign lottery.

From 1 September to 31 December, every customer of the Bank who sends or receives an instant money transfer equalling AZN/USD/EUR 300 or RUR 9,000 will join the lottery with the chance of winning one of the 50 Nokia Supernova 7210 cell phones accompanied with the maintenance warrantees from Mobitel that will be played every month. According to the rules of the lottery registered by the State Securities Committee of Azerbaijan, every money transfer in the amounts specified above will give the customer of the Bank one winning chance. Because the Bank does not limit the winning chances, the lottery participants will have the greater prospects of getting those cell phones. There will be four lotteries, on 8 October, 10 November, 10 December 2010 and on 14 January 2011. Each lottery will find the winners of 50 Nokia Supernova 7210 cell phones. The prize fund of the Bankâ€™s lottery will add up to AZN 24,000. All lottery winners will be chosen randomly using the computer equipment and under the supervision of independent monitors.

With the beginning of the Â«QÆÅžÅžÅžÅžÆNGÂ» Campaign, Unibank has altered its system of bonuses for money transfer senders and recipients. Now, the customers sending or receiving money transfers via the transfer systems in the Bank will also stand the chance of getting the additional bonuses, such as the cell phone scratch cards worth up to AZN 10. This action is in effect at all the 25 branches of the Bank including the provincial branches in Gyanja, Sumgait, Lenkoran, Shamkir, Guba, Minghechavir and Sheki.

It should be mentioned that Unibank currently works with the following seven money transfer systems: Western Union, Faster, Xpress Money, Â«Bistraya PochtaÂ», Coinstar, BLIZKO and the Â«Zolotaya KoronaÂ». The Bankâ€™s turnovers on retail transfers reached AZN 25.5 mn in 2009 representing the increase by 27.5% from 2009. The money transfers via Unibank rose by 72% in first 7 months of 2010, in comparison with the corresponding period of 2009.
