Azerbaijanâ€™s foreign trade turnover positive balance doubled

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. USD 15.5 bln thousand positive balance was created in the Azerbaijanâ€™s foreign trade turnover in January-July, 2010, the State Customs Committee told APA-Economics.

Total volume of the trade turnover with 135 countries was USD 15 516 150,7 thousand and USD 12 bln was created by the export operations, but USD 3.5 bln â€“ by import operations. Positive balance was $8.5 bln.

Foreign trade turnover rose by 48.7%, export by 69%, import by 6.6%, positive balance by 2.2 times compared with a year ago.

The 56.1% of trade operation was with Europe, 33.3% with Asia, 9% with America, 1.3% with Africa, 0.3% with Oceania.
