Inflation to be 5-6% in Azerbaijan this year

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ Apa-Economics. Annual inflation in Azerbaijan is forecasted to 5-6% by the end of the year, CBAâ€™s General Director Khagani Abdullayev told APA.

According to him the inflation in the country is 5% and this index is expected to be 5-6% by end of the year. â€œThe increasing of inflation from forecast may be depended on foreign markets.â€

He also noted that the CBA doesnâ€™t consider advisable changing the interest rate deal with economic processes over the world and processes in real sector.

CBA follow the processes in economy attentively and the main mandate of organization is level of the inflation: â€œWe analyze all factors influencing to inflation and pay attention to the situation of real sector.â€

Note that the accounting degree decreased from 15% to 2% in three stages from 2008.
