Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. Decreasing of several indexations in Azerbaijan-based banking system, 2010 is related with seasonal factors, CBA’s General Director Khagani Abdullayev told APA.

Note that the deposit portfolio decreased by 2%, legal entities’ deposit by 6.6% in monthly comparison.

Note that, the loan portfolio rose by 11.8% in July, 5.5% in August, legal entities’ deposit rose by 35% and decreased by 4.2%. The same situation was observed in 2008 too. So that loan portfolio in July rose by 3.2%, in August 1.5%. The legal entities’ deposit decreased by 8% and rose by 8.2%. As you see the explanation of decreasing dynamic of loan portfolio and legal entities’ deposits with the seasonal factors is partly solid argument.

According to him, the deposits of legal entities are the result of investment and other such processes.

Undoubtedly, these factors played their roles. But it is possible to relate this fact as the legal entities’ using their means.

Kh. Abdullayev confessed the decreasing of growth rate of loan portfolio compared with a year ago and related this with approaching banks to crediting carefully.
