Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund has completed collection of the regular calendar payments for the second quarter of 2010 from the member banks. The Fund said collections in the three main deposit currencies respectively made AZN 866 000 in the national currency, $1 299 000in the USD and € 175 000 in the euro.
The total amount of deposits put by individuals in the member banks reached AZN 2 .484 bln, including insured deposits of AZN 1.665 bln, not insured deposits of AZN 818.577 mln and the number of insured deposit holders reached 5 277 283 people.
Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund has been in operation since August 13, 2007.
