Zamin Bank sees 33% rise in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of July 1, 2010, Azerbaijan-based Zamin Bank’s assets stood at AZN 199.318 mln, up 33% compared with a year ago.
Bank says the deposit portfolio rose by 15.3% to AZN 38.253 mln, population’s deposit reached AZN 35.759 mln. Loan portfolio soared 53% to AZN 135.892 mln, consumer lending rose by 2.3 times to AZN 35.262 mln.
Total capital 32.3% increased to AZN 18.719 mln, authorized capital extended 18% to AZN 13.195 mln.
Income ended up 46% to AZN 9.692 mln expenditure gained 65% to AZN 9.123 mln. Profit dropped 48% to AZN 0.568 mln.
At the same time the bank established 5 branches, 9 ATMs and 15 POS-terminals.
Zamin Bank has been in operation since 1992. The bank operates 35 branches, 6 departments, Moscow representation in Russia, 34 ATMs and 1 891 POS-terminals.
