The United States has prepared new proposals for resolving the war in Ukraine, APA reports, citing The Economist.
The proposal plan includes the creation of a demilitarized zone in Donbas.
Under the plan, Russia will be offered an easing of sanctions, the conclusion of economic agreements with US companies, and the normalization of relations with Washington.
Ukraine, in turn, is promised investments and the prospect of European Union membership in exchange for abandoning its aspirations to join NATO.
In addition, the resumption of Russian gas supplies to Europe and the reopening of the Nord Stream gas pipeline are also being discussed.
