DemirBank sees 32% rise in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of July 1, 2010, Azerbaijan-based DemirBank’s assets stood at AZN 295.358 mln, up 32% compared with a year ago.
Bank says the deposit portfolio expanded 75% to AZN 110.432 mln, population’s deposit rose by 52% to AZN 81.692 mln, loan portfolio 26.2% increased to AZN 210.044 mln, consumer lending 13% declined to AZN 57.462 mln.
Total capital climbed 0.6% to AZN 47.958 mln, authorized capital soared 15.8% to AZN 19 mln.
Revenue slipped 8.6% to AZN 19.430 mln, expenditure gained 9.3% to AZN 173.265 mln. Profit slid 70% to AZN 1.247 mln.
DemirBank has been in operation since 1989. The bank operates 29 branches, 47 ATMs and 259 POS-terminals across the country.
