According to the top body, the index remained unchanged in January-July. This indicator has been increasing recently:
In simple words, purchasing power index describes sum of all net incomes available for buying goods and services. This index is negative when it is below 1 or sum of all net incomes are not sufficient to purchase goods and services. The rise indicates that sum of net incomes increase and sum of expenditure for goods and services decrease.
Retail commodity turnover was AZN 7 348 million, paid services AZN 2 426.4 million, incomes of the population AZN 13 604 mln in January-July.
