Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia to rise by 10% this year

The trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia is expected to be reached $ 2 bln by the end of this year, Russia’s trade representative in Azerbaijan Yuri Shadrin told in press conference about results of trade relations in first half-year, 2010, between Azerbaijan and Russia.
According to him, the trade turnover made $ 848.8 mln up 17% compared with a year ago. “Exported goods from Azerbaijan to Russia rose by 44.4% to $ 360.4 mln, and exported goods from Russia to Azerbaijan by 2.7% to $ 488.2 mln.â€
He also noted that the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia is expected to be increased by 11% to $ 2 bln.
Russia invested AZN 1 937.2 thousand capital in Azerbaijan in first half-year, 2010. The capital invested in non-oil sector.
