RSI index drops in Azerbaijan

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. Retail Sales Index (RSI) was 100.3% in Azerbaijan in July, 2010. This figure was 101.1% in June, 108.9% in May, APA-Economics reports quoting the State Statistics Committee.

RSI is calculated as a comparison between the sales value and previous monthâ€™s indexes. The Retail Sales Index was AZN 1 089.4 mln in July, AZN 1 085,9 million in June, AZN 1 074 million in May, AZN 986,6 million in April, AZN 1 120.5 mln in March, AZN 975.2 mln in February, AZN 1 016.4 mln in January.

Above 100% RSI shows increase of volume and value of the sold goods in comparison to previous monthâ€™s indexes.
