BSE holds a workshop for the representatives of the local microfinance companies

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. On May 19th 2010 Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) and Azerbaijan Microfinance Association (AMA) held a workshop for the representatives of the local microfinance companies dedicated to the subject of capital markets and listing on the stock exchange.
The workshop was attended by the management of AMA and most of the microfinance companies being the members of the Association. During the workshop the representatives of BSE provided detailed information to the attendees about the benefits of the capital markets to the business and listing on the stock exchange. At the end of the workshop several companies mentioned their desire to see their securities listed at BSE.
It should be noted that BSE has been conducting active work with the companies representing different sectors of the country’s economy to enlighten them about and bringing to the capital markets.
