WB raises investment by 2.5 times in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The fixed investments in Azerbaijan by the World Bank (WB) was AZN 34 427 400 in January-April, up 2.5 times from a year ago, said the State Statistical Committee.
The WB investment accounted for 6.6% of fixed capital investments in Azerbaijan by foreign countries and international institutions.
Azerbaijan joined the World Bank in 1992. Since then, the WB has provided more than $2.2 billion financial assistance to Azerbaijan.
