Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of April 1, 2010, Azerbaijan-based banks’ deposits stood at AZN 2 395 mln, up AZN 622.3 mln or 35.1% compared with ayear ago, AZN 60.1 mln or 2.6% from early of current year.
According to results of 2009, deposits rose by 22.7% while 6.9% decreased in first quarter of 2010.r.
During a year the banks saw growth in deposits. Total growth was 36.7%. InMarch, population’s deposits down by AZN 27.8 mln or 1.2%.
