Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of April 1, 2010, Azerbaijan-based Bank of Baku’s assets stood at AZN 194.586 mln, up 17% compared with a year ago.
Bank says that, deposit portfolio rose by 40.7% to AZN 102.052 mln, loan portfolio 9.4% increased to AZN 138.314 mln, consumer lending grew by 22.6% to AZN 108.476 mln. Total capital climbed 23.2% to AZN 36.497 mln, authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 6.8 mln.
Revenue 7.7% increased to AZN 10.512 mln, expenditure rose by 0.1% to 6.992 mln. Profit soared 27% to AZN 3.520 mln.
Bank of Baku has been in operation since 1994. The bank operates 15 branches, 24 ATMs and 205 POS-terminals.
