Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Positive balance of Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover was $ 3 350 848,1 000 in January-March, 2010, up by 2.8 times compared with a year ago, said the State Statistical Committee
According to State Statistical Committee, the volume of trade operations with 112 countries reached $ 5 667 674,9 000. In the period of report, $4 509 261,5 000 goods were exported and $1 158 413,4 000 – imported to the country.
Volume of export operations was 81.65% higher and import decreased for 12.60% compared with a year earlier.
Main of exported goods are: crude oil (84.61%), oil productions (6.72%), vegetable oil and animal fat (1.23%).
Imported are: Machine and electric equipments, electro-technical equipments and their reserves (27.77%), food production (17.63%), transport facilities (12.34%) and ferrous metals (7.44%).
