Bank Avrasiya achieves a 39% rise in profit

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of October 1, Azerbaijan-based Bank Avrasiya posted its assets at AZN 36.103 million, down 29.3% from a year ago.

The bank said deposit portfolio decreased by 62.2% to AZN 10.633 million, loan portfolio dropped by 34% to AZN 17.928 million while consumer lending jumped by 25.7 to AZN 3.953 million.

Total capital went up by 0.4% to AZN 20.908 million and authorized capital stood at AZN 20 million.

Revenue increased by 3.8% year-on-year to AZN 4.059 million and expenditure soared by 27.4% to AZN 3.220 million. Profit surged by 38.6% year-on-year to AZN 610 000.

Established in November 2007, Bank Avrasiya operates 2 ATMs, 21 POS terminals and 1 bureau of exchange.
