CIS Banking Forum to take place in the Crimea

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-ECONOMICS. A banking forum will bring together representatives from the CIS banks in the Crimea in May 2010, said Anatoly Kazakov, chairman of the CIS Finance and Banking Council.

According to him, the forum will discuss issues such as attracting long-term investment into the real economy, improving financial intermediation in the CIS countries, the expansion of banking products, diversification of income sources, improving efficiency in risk management, etc.

"In addition, it is planned to hold a tennis tournament among the CIS bankers. We know that many bankers are interested in tennis", he added.
