Technikabank posts 11% year-on-year rise in deposit portfolio

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of October 1, Azerbaijan-based Technikabank posted its assets at AZN 449.996 million, up 2.4% from a year ago.

The bank said loan portfolio rose 13.4% to AZN 346.950 million while consumer loans dropped 24.3% to AZN 52.928 million.

Deposit portfolio grew by 11.4% to AZN 149.327 million. Total equity capital went up 4.6% to AZN 60.081 million and authorized capital stock soared 55% to AZN 41.712 million.

Revenue fell 10.7% year-on-year to AZN 49.324 million and expenditure rose 12.9% to AZN 39.743 million. Profit halved to AZN 9.581 million.

The bank established 9 ATMs and 15 POS terminals across the country. The number of staff members increased 4.4% to 592.

Established in 1993, Technikabank operates 35 branches, 55 ATMs and 342 POS terminals across the country.
