NBC Bank sees 33% rise in loan book

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of October 1, Azerbaijan-based NBC Bankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 49.258 million, up 31.7% from a year ago.

The bank said loan portfolio rose by 32.8% to AZN 40.533 million, deposit portfolio increased by 0.3% to AZN 3.596 million, total equity capital went up by 22.6% to AZN 18.240 million and authorized capital grew by 14.8% AZN 15.598 million.

Consumer lending surged by 23% to AZN 29.639 million.

Revenue rose by more than doubled to AZN 13.996 million and expenditures more than doubled to AZN 12.482 million.

Profit jumped by 89% to AZN 1.514 million.

The bank established 1 branch and 1 ATM over the past year.

The number of employees rose by 13.1% to 147 and average staff salary increased by 6.9% to AZN 367.

Established in 1992, Ruzi Bank was renamed as NBCBank in 2002. The bank operates 7 branches, 5 ATMs and 44 POS-terminals.
