Azerbaijan International Banking Conference ends

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-ECONOMICS. The 2nd International Banking Conference on "Improving the Stability of Financial and Banking Systems in the CIS Areaâ€ has today come to an end.

The today’s conference discussed issues such as attracting long-term investment to the real sector, improving financial intermediation, widening range of banking products, diversification of income sources, raising efficiency of risk management practices, the development of public-private partnership in investment and lending to the real sector, lending to small and medium enterprises, project financing, syndicated lending and venture financing etc.

The participants adopted a document containing conclusions of the discussed issues, establishment of a unified payment system, prospective projects,solutions to common problems etc.

The conference is held by the CIS Finance and Banking Council.
