Khagani Abdullayev: Azerbaijanâ€™s banking system is quite sustainable

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijanâ€™s banking system is quite stable at present, said Khagani Abdullayev, the general director of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

According to him, the central bank, as the mega-regulator, is stress-testing the banking system.

â€œWe carry out such stress tests every one months and a half. I can say that the banking system is expected to further develop in terms of both assets quality and liquidity,â€ he added.
