AIG Caspian Insurance gets 12% rise in proceeds

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based American International Group Caspian Insurance Company (AIG Caspian), a US-Azeri Joint Venture, earned AZN 1.410 million during January-September, up 12.3% from a year ago.

The bank said payment for insurance claims increased by 3.4 times to AZN 547 266.

Premiums most came from Civil Liability Insurance and insurance claims most came from Property Insurance.

Owned by Caravan Investment (51%) and American International Group Inc. (49%), AIG Caspian Insurance has been in operation since 1999.
