Azerbaijan makes some Tax Code-related amendments

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijanâ€™s Cabinet of Ministers has made wording amendments to some regulations related to the Tax Code.

The Cabinet said in a statement that amendments were made to "Rules for settlement for the debts of Azerenerji to the state budget and other institutionsâ€, "Rules for compiling the forms of reports by businesses, organizations and individuals", "Rules for the official use of diplomatic offices and consulates, representative offices of international organizations, as well as VAT exemption for goods and services used by their employees and their families" and â€œRules for payment of VAT on tax invoices, VAT deposit accounting, VAT transfers to the state budget"

The amendments will take effect on 1 January 2010. The changes include the replacement of wording of "tax invoice" with "electronic tax invoices".
