Presentation of stock exchange listing rules to be delivered in Azerbaijan on Sep. 29

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-ECONOMICS. The State Committee for Securities (SCS) will deliver a presentation of new listing rules at the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) on September 29, 2009.

The event will be attended by representatives of the SCS, the BSE, the National Depository Center, State Oil Fund, International Finance Corporation (IFC), Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and several other government and international organizations, as well as private companies.

According to listing rules which took effect on the first working day of August, the listing fees were changed by the BSE. Then, the BSE postponed the application of new listing fees until January 1, 2010, saying the postponement will contribute to the development of the stock market as well as encouraging companies to get listed.
