Central Bank of Azerbaijan: Reports about Debut Bankâ€™s failure are false

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-ECONOMICS. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan denied reports about the failure of a local commercial bank Debut Bank.

Rashad Orujev, the central bankâ€™s officer for control over lending institutions, said that the bank continues its operation normally.

"I can say for sure that there is no bank faced with the possibility of bankruptcy in Azerbaijan" he added.

There are 46 banks in Azerbaijan.
