EBRD plans to finance new projects in western Azerbaijan

Ganja. Jamshid Bakhtiar - APA-ECONOMICS. Francis Delaey, Head of the EBRD Office in Baku, has met with Eldar Azizov, chairman of Gandja Executive Committee.

He said the EBRD intends to explore the economic potential of Ganja.

â€œI have already visited a local textile factory, and then met with chairman of the executive committee here. Our goal is to finance several projects on the economic development of Ganja,â€ he added.

According to him, he also intends to visit the Ganja Alumina Refinery, but it is not connected with any project.

He added that the EBRD is considering a transport project in Gandja.
