Islamic Development Bank to hold its annual meeting in Baku

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluev - APA-ECONOMICS. The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) is to hold its annual meeting in Baku on June 23-24, 2010, the IDB Officer in Azerbaijan Tamerlan Tagiyev told APA-Economics.

According to him, the bank will soon send representatives on mission to Azerbaijan to do preparation and work on the process of organizing the meeting in Azerbaijan.

He also noted that the IDB intends to extends loans for several projects especially in the energy sector, water supply and agriculture in Azerbaijan in 2010-2011.
