Azerbaijan sees foreign trade surplus decline

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s foreign trade turnover with 126 nations during January-August totaled $12.4 billion, including exports of $8.6 billion and imports of $3.8 billion, said the State Customs Committee.

The trade surplus was $4.8 billion.

As against the same period last year, exports declined by 77.23%, imports by 15.18% and trade surplus by 7 fold.

$17.9 million worth of humanitarian goods and technical assistance were brought to the country.
