ADB revises downwards inflation outlook for Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-ECONOMICS. Asian Development Bank (ADB) said it predicts 3% annual inflation for Azerbaijan in 2009, compared to its initial forecast of 12%, said a regional outlook update issued by ADB.

According to report, the country will see inflation at 7% in 2010.

Besides, the bank predicts inflation will be 7.6% in 2009 and 7.3% in 2010 in the Central Asia and Azerbaijan region.

The International Monetary Fund said earlier that it predicts inflation at 4% for Azerbaijan.
