SECO explores new opportunities for cooperation with Azerbaijan in securities market

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-ECONOMICS. Representatives from Azerbaijan State Committee for Securities and the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) have held a meeting in Baku to exchange views on SECO projects, new possibilities of cooperation in the securities market etc.

SCS Chairman Rufat Aslanli briefed the guests about the situation on the securities market of Azerbaijan. He praised the SECO-initiated Government Securities Primary and Secondary Market Development Project.

The parties held discussion on new opportunities for cooperation between SECO and SCS, modernization and automation of securities trading infrastructure, the establishment of training center, strengthening the capacity of SCS etc.
