Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. APA-Economics provides rankings of Azerbaijan-based banks for their various figures and financial performance.

The project aims to highlight banks’ financial performance and update the public and potential investors. In the table below, bank organizations are ranked by Return on Equity (ROE) ratio in accordance with the available data as of July 1, 2009.

It measures a bank’s efficiency at generating profits from every manat (national currency) of net assets (assets minus liabilities), and shows how well a company uses investment funds to generate earnings growth.
Simple ROE is equal to a net income divided by total equity, expressed as a percentage.
