Foreign fixed capital investments slump in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. As against a year ago, foreign fixed capital investment almost halved in Azerbaijan during January-August, said the State Statistical Committee.

The top body said the amount of foreign investment in fixed capital reached AZN 816.1 million, down 1.9 fold from a year ago.

Of this, AZN 701 million or 85.9% was made by British, U.S., Japanese, French, Norwegian, Czech and Turkish investors.
