Azerbaijan ranks second for economic growth rate in CIS area

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan ranked the second among the CIS states for GDP growth rate for the first half, said the CIS Statistical Committee.

According to the top body, Azerbaijan is second to Uzbekistan in terms of economic growth in January-June.
5 of 11 countries which released figures saw growth in GDP. Ukraine and Armenia are most hit by the recession.
