Azerbaijan posts a 5% rise in ATMs

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of July 1, the number of commercial banks’ ATMs in Azerbaijan has reached 1 588, up 13% from a year ago and up 5% from early this year, said the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
Of this, 52% were deployed in Baku and the rest in provinces. The ratio of ATMs in Baku was 60% in the same period last year. The number of ATMs in regions has increased as part of the development of pension benefit delivery system in the country.
