Bank Standard posts 3% year-on-year rise in total equity capital

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-ECONOMICS. As of July 1, Azerbaijan-based Bank Standard posted its assets at AZN 523ş721 million, down 26.5% on a year ago.

The bank said loan portfolio decreased by 18.4% to AZN 358.368 million, deposit portfolio fell 36.6% to AZN 158.949 million.
Consumer lending plunged by 68.1% to AZN 64.181 million.

As against a year earlier, the bank’s total equity capital grew by 3.1% to AZN 85.190 million and authorized capital went up 29.1% to AZN 64.56 million.

Revenue dropped by 31.5% to AZN 39.709 million and expenditures decreased by 16.5% to AZN 32.143 million.
The bank’s profit for the past one year fell by 3.3% to AZN 9.786 million.

The bank established 2 branches, and increased staff members by 17% to 442.

Bank Standard, owned by AB Standard, has been in operation since 1995.
It operates 17 branches, 51 ATMs and 442 POS terminals across the country.
