ADB mission arrives in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. Donald Lambert, a Risk Management Specialist at the Asian Development Bank (ADB), has led
an assessment mission to Azerbaijan.

The ADB office in Baku said the main purpose of the visit is to review and assess the current situation of the banking sector in the country.

During the trip, the delegation will hold meetings in the Central Bank, International Bank of Azerbaijan, Access Bank and AGBank.

In addition, the delegation will meet with some international institutions having presence in Azerbaijan (The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, International Finance Corporation, etc.).

The delegation also includes private sector operations officers Pamela Brasey and Eliza Paterno. The delegation will leave Baku on August 8.

Azerbaijan joined the ADB in 1999.
